On January 9, 2025, a federal court vacated the 2024 Title IX regulations, and, on January 31, 2025, the US Department of Education announced the end of the 2024 regulations and the reversion back to the 2020 Title IX regulations. On May 19, 2020, the U.S. Department of Education issued regulations under Title IX that:
Given the limitations in scope of the 2020 regulations and the need for the college to comply with Maryland and New Mexico law, the college has two policies: the Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy and the SJC Sexual Misconduct Policy. Consistent with applicable law, including Title IX, the Clery Act and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013, the College maintains a comprehensive program designed to protect members of the community from sexual misconduct.

At any time, an individual may consult the Title IX/Sexual Misconduct Coordinator to report a concern.
